1. Controller
Central Guest House, Concevidayoc St. 157, 2nd floor, Cusco, Peru — 5 min walk from Plaza de Armas. Contact: [email protected].
2. Data we collect
Full name, ID document, email, phone and the data needed for your booking and receipt issuance.
3. Purpose
To manage your booking and stay, process payments, issue receipts, handle inquiries and complaints, and send you booking communications. We do not sell your data.
4. Consent
We collect your data with your prior, free and informed consent, given when you register or book. We keep a record of that acceptance: the date, the version of this policy and the IP address it was given from.
5. Retention & security
We keep your data for as long as the relationship lasts and for the period required by tax and accounting obligations. Booking data received from online travel agencies is anonymised 90 days after being resolved, and payment gateway technical records are deleted after 150 days. We apply encryption in transit and role-based access control.
6. Your rights (ARCO)
You may exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition by writing to [email protected]. When you exercise cancellation we erase your name, email, phone and identity document; we keep only the bookings and receipts that tax law requires us to retain, with no data identifying you.
7. Third parties
We share data only with the providers required to deliver the service, under confidentiality obligations: Culqi (payment gateway: name, surnames, email, phone and country, required by its anti-fraud system), Resend (sending your booking emails), Cloudinary (site images) and Beds24 together with the online travel agencies when you book through them. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
8. Cookies and analytics
This site runs without tracking cookies. We only use the ones strictly needed for it to work (keeping you signed in and remembering your language and currency); those cannot be turned off, because without them the site stops working. Separately, and ONLY if you explicitly accept in the notice shown on arrival, we use Google Analytics to learn which pages are useful. Until you accept, no analytics script is loaded and none of its cookies are written, and your IP address is transmitted anonymised. If you decline, we do not ask again and nothing is collected. We never use your data for advertising or share it with advertisers. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
